  21. Here is an answer to some of your questions: CCITT is the French
  22. acronym for Consultative Committee on International Telephony and
  23. Telegraphy. Now it is called the International Telecommunications 
  24. Union (ITU).  This body is part of the United Nations and issues all
  25. the recommendations on data transmission. Norms for data
  26. communication are set by ITU (CCITT).
